Heart Health During the Pandemic – Interview with Jeanne Kearns from American Heart Association

I met up with Jeanne Kearns from our local chapter of the American Heart Association. AHA is doing lots more during the pandemic than you think and we should be paying attention to heart health during this time. They are deploying blood pressure cuffs to those at home who are staying home and not monitoring blood pressure, as well as Infant CPR Kits to new parents who may have had to forgo CPR training while in the hospital. They have also partnered with several programs such as senior meal services to provide for those in the most need.

Women are most affected by heart disease and stroke. Take a listen to learn about the American Heart Association Go Red for Women event that has gone virtual on Friday, May 29th. There will be some very special guests that you don’t want to miss!
